Chris is the MAN. His team are just amazing, skilled and highly knowledgeable and extremely talented. Hands down the best team in Vermont for your building needs. Don’t waste your time with hacks, if you want it done right, Chris is the one to contact. Highly knowledgeable about Vermonts old homes, how they are constructed and the correct way to repair and replace. New or old construction, he’s the one you want to engage. We couldn’t be happier!!!! Chris was great! We were in a bind and really needed a bathroom renovated. Not only did he take on the job while he had other jobs going on he did A+ work and refused to cut any corners. The custom vanity is a work of art. Will definitely be using him in the future!

Chris and team are not only amazing at their craft but also good people. They did a great job helping design and build our new deck, redid one of our bathrooms and also gave me some free advice on building my son's tree house. Good people, hard working, honest and fun to have a beer with at the end of the work day.

Quality requires patience. Over the past 3 years, Chris and Alpen Woodworks have crafted for our outdoors, 4 chairs, 1 loveseat, 2 benches and a coffee table . Craftsmanship takes time, if you want ready made, go to home depot. If you want pieces to last a lifetime, are functional and beautiful , then work with Alpen Woodworks.

Just do yourself a favor and don’t engage him! Absolute con artist. Will take your money and promise a great product and will absolutely let you down, but will keep asking for more money.
