My wife and I recently hired Alpha Roofing to replace our home's roof which was damaged by Hurricane Sally. My wife and I are extremely pleased with the job John Tesch - the owner of Alpha Roofing - and his crew did installing our new roof. The entire crew was very professional, punctual, tidy and courteous. They arrived - on time - with a crew of 10 workmen who broke up into groups. One group spread tarps around the entire house taking particular care covering the plants and shrubs. Another group began removing the old shingles, still another group came right behind the second group making repairs to the roof where needed and installing the new felt moisture barrier. John and his crew are very professional. They used top grade materials installed by experienced roofers; with one of them having 25 years of experience. The attention to detailed is unparalleled. My house is 100 years old. Damaged and rotten decking were replaced with 1"X6" boards, not plywood. The foreman inspected the roof one last time before leaving and made sure everything was sealed properly, adding additional sealant around chimneys and pipe flashing. The clean up was extraordinary. Several different workers passed over the same area with with magnetic sweepers in my yard, my neighbor's yard and driveways to pick up any and all nails. John Tesch did more damage to our home than repairs! Our entire roof was replaced when we purchased our home, and John was chosen by the seller, whom we trusted. Little did we know what we were in for. Workers showed up at our door demanding payment because John was not paying them, workers then told us we would be having issues because they were told to cut corners and the flashing of the fireplace had not been sealed properly, low and behold we had a leak in the living room and bedroom ceilings two weeks later. Now, one year later, we have yet another leak in the bedroom ceiling in the same spot as before, only this time the leak has gone through $1200 of new insulation we had blown in. Although this took longer than expected, the wait was well worth it. Crew is very professional, and had to deal with extra repairs due to some pretty substantial damage to eaves and working with custom considerations of skylight, hatch and tear off of awning to build out roof line. This is an experienced crew and did a super quality job. Great cleanup too. Thank you John for working with me while we waited on shingles which had to be ordered due to specific color. Initially there was an issue it took longer to get a resolution than we would have liked but that is just something that happens during busy times like hurricane season. John contacted my mother and agreed to come out and fix the problem. I am happy to say that I would recommend John and Alpha Construction for any job you need done. Good honest people.
