Alta Pest Control

Update: thank you to the kind representative that understood my frustration and was absolutely able to refund my money. That is greatly appreciated and stars have been added back because of her. I called to cancel and they still had the audacity to charge my account, even though it says pending in my bank account on the 7th. They better not charge my account again next month or I will be pursuing legal actions. The person I talked to on the phone even felt it was necessary to do simple math for me like I’m not an educated woman with a masters degree. This company deserves zero stars because they do not care about customer service.

I’ve had a really awful experience with Alta Pest Control, and I would never recommend them. The service itself just hasn’t worked. We’ve continued to have pest issues, and when we specifically had a wasp problem, I wasn’t given service, I was told how to get rid of them myself and I had to. 150 dollars later and a trip to Lowe’s. That’s frustrating considering this is exactly what I’m paying a pest control company for. I also tried to cancel previously and was told I would have to pay back the full “discount” I received, around $400 I was only 1 month into it. That essentially forced me to stay with the service because I couldn’t afford to pay that much just to leave, adding to the frustration, especially when the service wasn’t effective to begin with. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Sat here all day waiting for someone to show up for appt (1-5). No text(they txt when I front of house), no call, nothing.. I called at 4:45pm asking if I was still on the schedule ..for them to tell me that tech said they were at my house and nobody was home!!!! 😡Then they are questioning ME “are you sure you were home?”…REALLY??? So you basically just called your customer a LIAR?? I can’t believe the audacity of these people!!! I also can’t wait til our contract is over because we WILL NOT BE USING THEM!!

I am so sick of this company. Wish I could give them ZERO stars. I called them multiple times to cancel. First time they told me I couldn’t do a future cancel and I’d have to call back the next month to cancel after my contract was up. I got stuck in a year contract paying for nothing to even work. I called back and told them their service didn’t work and I wanted to cancel. The woman said she will send out someone to do extra treatments for free. I told her that’s fine, but DO NOT charge me again unless I say it’s ok to resume. She said ok. I repeated to her multiple times and made sure we were on the same page and she stated we were. Just had Nick Bergstrom and Yancy Harris out here for an attic exclusion. They were very knowledgeable and professional. They walked me around house to show me all the work that was done to prevent any wildlife/rodents from entering my home. I highly recommend this company and these two gentlemen for their thorough work and attention to detail. Thank you!
