~Update from 1 star to 3 stars: They did promptly reach out from the customer advocacy department. The person I spoke with was very empathetic and they did mention that they were going to void the charge to my account. They also were going to inform their team on best practices in regard to military moves for account closures. As it’s their policy to close accounts without penalty for military moves, with proper documentation. I appreciate that they do read these reviews and take customer feedback seriously. Edit: After posting my review, I was contacted by a customer advocacy representative and we came to a mutual solution. I’m changing my stars from 1 to 3 because of the resolution. They did NOT demand editing the review as a condition of the resolution. I am doing this because ultimately they corrected their mistake and that deserves credit as well. I am leaving the original review so those reading can understand how truly frustrated I was. End edit: I used Alta for 2-3 years and had no issues with the service UNTIL I sold my house and tried to call and cancel the service. Josue was very helpful sharing his knowledge. He treated the house inside and outside. The house is getting much better. We are very happy with the company and services.
