So I called to get an estimate was quoted $200. That wasn’t the case. Then the guy finally came. I’m trying to make conversation because I’m just wondering why a key cost so much. He tells me they have to get some code from the dealer to make the key. So I proceed to ask more questions. I guess he was irritated from the questions because to me a lot of it was making no sense but any ways he charged me 265 and his reason was my code cost more a bunch of BS but I needed a key. My key now has came apart. These people make up prices and they’re only paying 5-10 dollars for these keys horrible it’s def a scam never again

Locked myself out of my neighbor’s house while cat-sitting, with a week to go. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Michael, and a trainee, showed up for the rescue. I’m embarrassed that I can’t remember the trainee’s name, but they were both so nice! He gave me a fair price, which I really appreciated, as this was clearly an unplanned expense. Michael had the door open in under a minute. I told them I need to make a copy of the key, in case I ever walk out without it again, and Michael told me he had a key machine in his car and made me a copy for $5. My neighbor’s door can be a little hard to open, and Michael performed some magic with a tool and some WD-40, for free, and the door’s locks relaxed. Thank you both for getting me out of the mess I got myself into. Tiger, the cat, is super grateful as well.

David totally overpriced me for a 5 minute job. I paid $195 for him to pump air into my car door. Nothing more than that with touching any locks or keys with my keys on the driver's seat. I think he drove 20 minutes to tet here. He even asked me for $250 at first. I just felt a little pressured as it was my first time dealing with it and I think other customers should be careful and not get overcharged like I did.

Specifically asked for them to send some to test my immobilizer on my gmc to verify that might be the issue. They sent a guy in a suv that had no tools to do so. All he did was try and turn the key and steering wheel like I’ve already done. Then proceeds to tell me I need an ignition cylinder without checking the immobilizer as I requested to him and dispatch. Then ask for a 25 fee for him coming out and wasting both of our time. Plus all he did was tap my key a few times with a screwdriver and sprayed the ignition and with WD-40. Super cooked called a real lock smith.

I would have given 5 since they came promptly and was able to open my garage without damage. But the $350 charge which includes $25 service fee was WAY more than I expected but I was locked out.
