I purchased my cabinets from dovetail cabinets in Portsmouth, NH. I interviewed several cabinet installers and was not impressed with their lack of knowledge. One contractor I did interview was George Trojan Junior who owns American Building And Design. George is a fantastic carpenter who I call a carpenter mechanic because his knowledge is extensive and technically on point with everything he does. My cabinets were installed perfectly no trim was needed on the bottom of the cabinets, everything was scribed to the floor. My home was built in the 1800’s and nothing was square and George made everything look perfect. George installed doors on my laundry room perfectly and did some tile work in my bathroom that was done impeccably well. I recommend George over any contractor I’ve ever dealt

I highly recommend working with George on any of your home construction needs. I recently renovated my kitchen and could not be happier with the outcome! There were plenty of "oh, didn't expect that" moments when working through the project, but George worked through each and everything came out really well! George is passionate about what he does. My husband and I hired George to design the layout and exterior of our major remodel and addition project and he exceeded our expectations. We had a list of important attributes that we wanted include in the re-design and George took our list and gave us even more than we asked for - going above and beyond to find a comfortable layout and listen to our design needs. Since he is a contractor, he also knows everything about building and took that into consideration as he put the layout together. I highly recommend George - we had a great experience.

George is an amazing jack of all trades! We have used him for a complete second floor dormer where he did EVERYTHING! He's amazingly talented, kind, on schedule and sticks to his budget! Recently he came back to do an impeccable tile backsplash and gorgeous floating shelves. We are beyond happy with the work! George is the easiest professional we've had the pleasure of working with.
