I recently searched for a company to perform air duct cleaning and came across this company advertising a $99 air duct cleaning special. Before scheduling, both my mother-in-law and I specifically asked whether this was a flat fee and whether there were any additional charges or hidden costs. We were clearly told it was a $99 package with no catch. However, when the technician arrived, he informed my father-in-law that the special was actually $99 per vent, which is completely different from what was advertised and what we were told over the phone. That is not a special at all. In fact, several other companies in the area charge $50–$75 per vent as their regular pricing. After this happened, I contacted the company again and was then told the $99 was simply a service call fee for the te
