AC wasn't cooling in 6/25, Called the original installers. Tom G. Identified problem as lacking refrigerant. Although he could not locate a leak, he refilled the unit with over 5 pounds of refrigerant costing $300 per pound. Seemed outrageous. Over $1600 spent. Now 12/5, the heat pump won't heat. New tech from EZ located a small rupture in copper tubing within 10 minutes. Pipe was fixed, but compressor was ruined since it was running without refrigerant. So American, through their terrible service and overcharges cost me $1,700 in June which 6 months later cost me new refrigerant plus the cost of a new compressor and service call. Do not use American. My message to American was not returned. I stand 100% behind this review and challenge American to reimburse me for their unprofessional se

I was personally impressed with Tom's professionalism. He addressed all our questions and provided a system to meet our needs. Installation was done on the date we scheduled. Installation was quick and clean when they left. Installation was completed professionally. (Note I am not easy to please) Tom explained the system and addressed everything before they left. Honest and fair to deal with. The price he quoted is what we paid. No add on or extras. We did purchase a furnace and air conditioning units. After multiple service calls with other companies Tom was the only one to finally diagnose our problem and get us fixed up. He is prompt, has excellent communication skills, friendly, and is beyond knowledgeable in the industry. Highly recommend.

Tom is the best. He arrives when he says and gets the job done every time. I trust him. His rates are fair. He's the guy I ask when I need a recommendation for other local trades.

You will find many established HVAC technicians around the lake area but you will not find a more informed, professional, honest and reliable HVAC technician than Tom. He went out of his way to complete what turned out to be an unusually difficult installation within the timeline and cost estimate we discussed.
