We hired American Home Values, LLC to rebuild the main structural support beams in our basement, and we are happy with the results. Our 1931 home had developed some bowing in the beams, and we needed the work completed quickly to meet a contract deadline. From the start, Kyle and his team were professional and accommodating. They came out during the busy holiday season to provide an estimate, which we greatly appreciated given our time constraints. AHV did post-fire rehab work for us, to include extensive structural repair. They followed all specs from structural engineer and completed the job in a timely manner, despite difficult conditions. All inspections passed and they communicated with me regularly so I would know each step of the process. They also did a beautiful job installing LVP flooring and trim/quarter round. The crews were courteous and worked quickly without wasting time. The price was fair and I highly recommend them.

My wife and I had American Home Values install a murphy bed with shelving for us in our office space. For context, we have worked with several contractors in the past for things like patios, decks, electric fireplace installations, etc. Out of all of the contractors that we've worked with, American Home Values was our least favorite. They were slow to initiate work (took several months after the original work was agreed upon before the actual work got started), slow to complete work (the job was completed sporadically over the course of several weeks), and their final product was not great. After the work was deemed complete by their standards and they were requesting their final payment (which they were very quick to do), there were still lots of issues with the bed: exposed nails, areas

I strongly recommend doing thorough research before hiring American Home Values L.L.C. In my experience, while they initially presented themselves as professional and courteous, the project did not start on the promised date, and there were repeated delays and excuses. It seemed they lacked sufficient manpower to complete the work efficiently, and I encountered unexpected issues with planning, flooring, and pricing. Additionally, a toilet had been improperly reinstalled during the removal of existing flooring, which I later discovered was not compliant with Maryland plumbing law. In Maryland, plumbing work, including installing or uninstalling fixtures like toilets, must be performed or supervised by a licensed plumber. Our house has never looked better! Kyle and his team put in new flooring and paint throughout. They also brought my kitchen design to life! All of the team was very friendly and easy to work with. Special shout out to Bob for completing the difficult tile job on the kitchen back splash. The whole job looks fantastic!! They also offer a discount to repeat customers!!
