I have to say that the five star reviews are real! This company along with the other companies that completed our project have been nothing but prompt, efficient, friendly with top quality work. Our new ducted heat pump with a split in the basement works beautifully. It produces a very even heat without the fluctuating temperatures that you normally get with a typical heating system. As I write this review it is 2 degrees outside and my house is very comfortable. This was a great experience. The crews arrive on time and proceed to explain everything that is going to be done along with answering all your questions. They are very professional, they know their stuff. Mass Save Contractors were very professional. They were great at cleaning up after themselves. Although they were unable to installed insulation in the attic due to the fact that there was vermiculite up there. They were able to give us directions on how to move forward. They did insulate the exterior walls from the inside and air sealed the basement. We would definitely request Zach and his team to come back for the attic insulation once the vermiculite is removed.

All workers were very personable. Crew chief answered my questions politely. Outdoor clean up was spotty but did good inside. Mudding was missed (caused by removal of tape) and spray foam was skimped on, see photos. Printout of signed documents should've been provided and or emailed. Overall great job, I'd use them again for my next project.

Marcus Scott did an excellent job with my home energy assessment. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. He walked through the entire house and pointed out areas where we were losing energy and gave practical recommendations on how to improve efficiency. I appreciated that he didn’t rush the process and answered all of my questions. The assessment was very thorough, and I left with a much better understanding of how to make my home more energy efficient and potentially lower my utility bills. If you’re thinking about getting a home energy assessment, I definitely recommend Marcus Scott.

It’s hard to say how effective the insulation will be only 24 hours after completion but we are so grateful to have an attic full of clean insulation in our very old and drafty house. I’m also looking forward to less dirt moving in and out of the house from the basement floor now that it’s been covered in plastic. The 4 MassSave Contractors on the team were a pleasure to work with and very respectful.
