No customer service or appreciation. They installed a Schlage lock on our front door for $289 a year ago which has not worked well. As we rarely use that door I let it go until finally it would not lock properly at all. I asked for a service call so they could make an adjustment and after waiting almost 2 hours for someone to show up they called to a say unless I payed $150 (half the cost of the lock) the service man they would not come out. We are senior citizens but I will not stand for elder abuse by anyone. Our handyman came out and made an adjustment to the door is less than 5 minutes.

Very professional and helpful, I called in advance to ask if they carried specific knobs and deadbolts that I needed for my new property … May stayed on the phone with me for a while, until all my questions were answered. She was so friendly! Happy to do business with American lock and key.

I came into their shop with a lock that I lost the key for. And they looked at the lock and they were able to make a key for it right away! They knew exactly what key was needed. They did it so fast and it works perfectly! They were so nice too. Overall it’s a great place! I will definitely recommend to anyone.
