THEFT!!! One of the movers from this company stole a credit card from me during my military pack-out then proceeded to charge the card for FOUR DAYS after my move out. My main concern is that I never want the individual affiliated with this moving company that stole my credit card to never enter the house of a service member again regardless of the poor investigation conducted by both the company and the Salinas PD. I want to express that I am 100% positive that a member of the moving company is responsible for the theft based on the following facts that I also provided to the moving company as well as the police: 1) Prior to the theft the last authorized transaction on the credit card was DEC2024 then it was placed in a drawer upstairs in my unit up until the day of my move out. I was surprised seeing bad reviews for this business. American movers, family owned company, made sure we are taken care of in preparation for our long distance move. They were on time, very responsive and professional. The owner personally stopped by to check if everything was going well. The company’s task was to pack our house and prep it for the move by the actual moving company. The crew was friendly and helpful. So, no complaints. :)

Military servicemembers: STAY AWAY from this place for your weigh-ins if you're doing a DITY move. You pay up front & come back when your vehicle is packed with your items & finish the weigh in. My story: (1) I paid the full fee for the weigh in. (You have to, up front.) They weighed my vehicle empty, gave me a receipt, & then advised me to come back to weigh the vehicle once it'd been loaded. (You can do it all in one go, but I did it in two). I didn't get the initial weight ticket as they said they'd provide that when I returned. (2) I returned at a later date (which they verbally confirmed would be acceptable) with my vehicle loaded. They said it had been too long & would not complete the weigh-in. I had my receipt (showing I had paid), but it didn't seem to matter to them when I showe
