I had a wonderful experience with the American of Virginia team, and especially our driver Dave on my interstate move recently. They were very communicative leading up to the move, and once Dave showed up, he ran a tight, competent ship getting everything pack and loaded in under the expected time. Then he drove my move himself across three states, meeting me right on time and my new home and making sure everything was unloaded and where it needed to be before leaving. He was incredibly professional and efficient. On a more personal note, he was also incredibly kind and good with my four year old son, letting him explore the big moving truck, sit in the driver's seat and even honk the horn! I would without question want to work with Dave and the AoV team again were I to move again!

Great experience with this moving company! I was welcomed and assisted throughout our experience! Barb was helpful with advice, assisted with packing, and even loaned us boxes. Once moving day her people were efficient, meticulously documenting and packing our household goods. They were able to store our stuff as we waited for the new house to be completed! (The construction took longer than planned but Barb and her office were patient with my changes of storage needs and scheduling the move in!) Once that day came, the movers did an outstanding job with our things, all were personable and helpful with more advice on the moving! I appreciate all their assistance, and definitely recommend them to assist with moving!!!

We used this company for our move from VA to IN and were impressed from start to finish. We were provided with boxes and paper, follow up calls and hard working crews on both ends. Dave North the driver and team leader showed true professionalism throughout. Our property arrived all intact and undamaged. Thanks Again!

Great job by American of Virginia, Inc. An Agent of Atlas Van Lines. They met all of our needs in a short time and was able to pack, move, and delivery our household goods prior to a winter storm. Barb was especially helpful, patient, and kind during our move. I would highly recommend!!!!

As a military brat, and a retired Navy officer, I've made lots of moves in my life. My recent experience with American of Virginia was probably the smoothest moving experience I've ever had. No gripes at all. I will use American of Virginia again when we sell our primary residence next year. Highly recommend the American of Virginia team. Top-notch all the way!
