I am a contractor and American Stairs has been great to deal with, even with a demanding Interior Designer and Homeowner. They were very patient and understanding with my client and got everything done in a professional and timely manner. I would recommend them to anyone.

If you are not a contractor & are not familiar with installation you must know ALL the materials you will need because the Sales person, John specifically, will not offer assistance however will posture as though he is helping. When I asked, "this is everything I'll need for my contractor?" he said, "yes." Turns out the answer was no. I had to place another order & pay a 2nd delivery charge (although it was discounted). And had to order additional items from Sheridan Lumber that this company doesn't even carry. Buyers be knowledgeable.

I went there as a potential new customer. I was needing some custom metal racks done and i was told by one of their employee they would do anything but i needed to go to the office to get an estimate. Soon after, i headed to the office down the road, there i was meet by the front desk lady and god, she was so helpless. Her first question was " are you a company " which i understood because i also work as a wholesaler but what i didn't like about her was, as soon as i explained what i needed she quickly turned me down, she stated quote " we only do stairs or you could buy the parts and do it yourself ". if i had the option to do it myself i wouldn't be there asking for a price. I am not upset for what she said, i am upset for the way she said it, like i was bothering her and she was literal
