WARNING WARNING WARNING! This company does not have integrity AT ALL. My family experienced water damage and this company was contacted for mitigation. Upon arrival they immediately tried to have paperwork signed before any authorization was given by the insurance adjuster and seemed frustrated when we said we needed adjuster approval first. They stated demolition had to happen before bringing in drying equipment and began touching cabinets and areas that were not affected, so we stopped them and instructed them not to proceed until the adjuster reviewed the damage. Despite this, a storage pod was scheduled for delivery the next day without approval, so we canceled services due to concern about unnecessary work and costs. I would never use this company again. The dishonesty and fraudulence is disturbing. I was quoted $2500 for the job. When I decided to go through my insurance, they wanted to charge my insurance $4500 for the same work. They claimed they were at my home for 16 hours when they were here for only 6 in total. Then, when they sent me a bill, they didn't include the $1000 I had already paid them at the beginning and I had to go back and prove it with a deposited check. Shameful business practices.

I was very pleased with my experience with American Water Damage. They came out quickly and it didn’t take long for the estimate. Travis was very kind and knowledgeable and took his time to explain the whole process, step by step. And he answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend them for any of your water damage repairs.
