I recently had AmeriSpec Inspection Services of Newport News perform my 11-month warranty inspection, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience. Inspector Joe Helmsderfer brought decades of experience to the inspection and it truly showed. He identified several items that I had completely overlooked after nearly a full year of living in my home, giving me valuable insight and peace of mind before my builder warranty expires. Beyond his technical expertise, Joe was incredibly approachable and generous with his knowledge. He took the time to explain not just what he found, but also how to properly maintain different systems and components of the home moving forward. He’s also just a genuinely great person to talk with, and I learned a lot from our conversations about general home

Joe is the man! So glad I chose this company for my home purchase inspection. Joe was EXTREMELY thorough! So thorough in fact, I think the seller was a little stunned and perturbed at the all the things that Joe was finding. Lol. Nothing major, but definitely things that would probably be overlooked by other inspectors (based on my previous experience buying a house). Joe was knowledgable, very customer service friendly answering every question I had and even gave me tips and pointers for getting the property in tip top shape. Also recommended me to several different companies that he would use to get certain jobs done. Overall my experience was a 10 out of 10 and I would recommend this company to any and everyone. Don't use anyone else!
