Last year, AmeriWest was working on wiring an additional dwelling unit and basement remodel for us. During this time, the Electrician (who was an apprentice) and the Project Manager would show up randomly for short periods of time. The Electrician never worked longer on site than an hour or two and then would disappear for the rest of the day. This went on for about a month until they ghosted us. The job wasn't complete and numerous portions of the quoted work hadn't even been started. We had paid a deposit, but nothing more. After not being able to get in touch with Ameriwest (this will be a theme) to get them back out to finish the job, no response to phone calls or emails (later found out they had fired their Project Manager), we hired a different Electrician to start/finish everything

Stay far, far away from here. This company isn't even operating anymore. Look at his business license, and his electrical license, they're not even current. Used to be very close to the company, and was supposed to swap services as well. You'll get the run around, if you even get a response from Jim. Everything about this "company" is a fraud these days. Not even on Vista anymore. Most employees quit on him.

I had contacted AmeriWest to install a 240V EV charger outlet in my garage. They were responsive and able to do an estimate over facetime which I thought was awesome. Due to the limitations of that kind of estimate the type of panel was missed and when they came out for the install didn't have what they needed to complete the job. They had to reschedule and come back another time. They came back, and Darren, the Electrician completed the install and was very friendly and helpful. Overall, in the end the job got done, was professional, and communication was very good. I would go back to them again for more work. Thanks Kara and Darren.

AmeriWest Electric is AWESOME! We had another company tell us we needed an entire new electric panel & it would cost over $7000 dollars. I called & spoke with Jim (the owner). He had me send pics of my panel & spoke with me for about 20 minutes. Levi came out the very next day & advised that we only needed a new circuit. They saved us over $5600!! Great experience. Not only in the cost savings but, they were extremely knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and I would refer them to anyone. They are the best!!!

Our experience with Ameriwest Electric Corp. has been amazingly positive. From the initial bid with Jim to the final walkthrough with David our generator installation experience went smoothly and was very enjoyable. The Ameriwest team is competent in trade, professional in attitude, organized in procedure, and adaptable to customer requests. They kept us informed throughout each stage of the process and made sure we were comfortable using our new backup power system before they left; going as far as leaving a personal contact number should questions arise. In summary we can say that out of 5 bids we requested we chose the very best and we got the very best. We now have a 22kw Generac automatic standby generator that we're confident will keep our home functioning well during power outa
