Amparano Roofing

My home was built in 2020, and the shingles on my roof began sliding off intact—not torn or damaged, just sliding off. When I contacted Amparano Roofing, who installed the shingles, I was told the issue was due to wind and considered an “act of God.” While I understand weather can play a role, I found it concerning that none of the neighboring homes built at the same time appear to have the same issue. The amount of shingles that came loose on my roof was significant, and the situation has resulted in extensive damage that I now have to address. I’m sharing my experience to hopefully help future customers make informed decisions. I would have appreciated more support and clearer guidance from the company in resolving this matter.

I would urge you to NEVER use this company after living in my home where this company completed the roof in fall of 2018. The prior owner used this company right before putting the home on the market and selling to me in 2019. I have the documentation to prove they did my roof, copies of permits and inspections with dates. I can't speak to customer service as I was not dealing with that aspect, but the quality of the job was HORRIBLE. I am 6 years in. Periodically I have noticed over the last 2 or 3 years random shingles in my backyard, maybe 1-3 so nothing huge and I didn't think much of it. Now I am concerned deeply. This week we noticed a HUGE section of my roof came loose and plywood exposed. This roof is 6 years old. Roofing of this material should last 20-30 years. If you check this

HORRIBLE Service! This company was chosen by my home warranty due to a service call for a roof leak. The woman who showed up just looked at the roof from the backyard and started assuming where the leak was coming from without ever going up on the roof. The woman who showed up was on crutches which makes me believe she is not qualified to do this type of job in the first place. I called for a second opinion and this company actually did their job by inspecting the roof throughly and found where the leak was coming from. The fact of the matter is that this company just showed up to get paid not to get the job done. After reading other reviews it is obvious I am not the only one who had problems with this company. I’m grateful for Amparano Roofing! They repaired my 1938 tile roof. When we bought this house, the inspector, of course said the roof is an excellent condition…Come to find out it was installed incorrectly! No felt was laid down! No sealing where sealing should be! Lots of broken tile & rotting wood from years of neglect! Lots of leaks! Etc. They knew exactly what needed repair. The men worked hard & got it done in a timely manner! I have used Amperano Roofing two times. Once, 15 years ago, and then just recently. On both occasions they did more work than I asked them to do (fixing facia board, edging, etc) and did a great job of cleaning up after tear off both times. Very professional at a great price!
