Absolutely do not buy Anderson windows. Years ago, we put all new windows on the house, with a hefty price tag for a 20 year warranty. Eight years in, the gas seal between panes started leaking on several windows. We called for service under the warranty. Turns out "Anderson Windows" was sold by the original owner, then about a year later the new owner sold it back to original owner again. Same business, same company, same products, same owner, same phone number from our warranty contract, but that warranty contract was null and void because the company had changed hands. This was clearly a way to negate those warranty calls, which is the only reason we bought the windows.
