Angry Monkeys Painting

I would give Angry Monkeys 0 stars if I could. Much like one of the other reviews, the pricing was good but they never came back to finish the work and what they did paint, they painted sloppily. For example, they painted all the windows shut! Unfortunately, we trusted them to keep their word and paid them in full (our mistake). As usual, you get what you pay for. In addition to not completing the job, one of their workers walked on the glass stovetop while painting the kitchen ceiling and shattered it. Initially the owner (John Duffield) said they would fix it, but then he realized it was a high end JennAir range and it would cost $2,000-3,000 to fix or replace it. I've hired many painters in the Outer Banks and have always been disappointed. Angry Monkeys is the first outfit to finish every task I've asked them to do. The work is top-notch and reasonably priced. They go above and beyond, often doing more than I ask. And when there have been problems with a job they've been fixed immediately.

Good work Good prices Unreliable Leaves jobs with unfinished work. Evan after promising to finish after being paid in full. Examples Overspray on sliding doors windows. Trees .grass .rock driveway. Unpainted areas can't be seen from ground. Peeling paint evan with verbal warranty. Finished 2 of 4 from Las year. Called 4 times no responce. 2 years later. Still the same . Except now paint is falling off houses.

My wife and her sisters hired Angry Monkeys Painting to paint the interior and exterior of their parents’ house. Over one year later, the job still is not finished and they’ve heard nothing but excuses from the owner John Duffield as to why it’s not done. Avoid this company at all costs. TERRIBLE!
