AT&T is knowingly outsourcing customer service failure to Ansco. Ansco is, without exaggeration, the worst contractor operating in North Georgia. Straightforward repair tickets are allowed to sit idle for weeks—and in many cases months—without resolution. There is no communication, no status updates, no accountability, and no apparent concern for restoring service or mitigating ongoing issues. Ansco technicians routinely fail to show urgency, fail to follow up, and fail to complete basic repair obligations. Customers are left in the dark while service problems persist indefinitely. This is not poor customer service—it is systemic negligence. AT&T’s decision to continue using Ansco as a subcontractor directly explains why AT&T’s repair response in this region is abysmal. AT&Ts contractor to lay fiber cable (and then they subcontract further for cheaper). They will put down hundreds of paint markers and utility flags and still manage to hit your neighborhood's main water line at least once, your neighborhood's gas line, and leave behind sinkholes and leaking water lines everywhere. Some areas you'll never see your grass again. They'll also sit and talk in their trucks in the middle of your neighborhood roads so you can't get through. For every hour of work, it looks like they stand around for 45 minutes. Must be cheap labor for AT&T.
