Anthony & Sylvan Pools

There's a reason that Anthony and Sylvan has been around for so long. They built my pool back in 2003, and we have been delighted with the design, the superior construction, and the quality of all the components. They have a retail store at this location, which stocks everything that you might need. They carry excellent quality chemicals, and have a very knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend.

It’s been 2 years since I have my pool, first time owning an ingrown pool lots of work and up keep. So I asked my neighbors who to use and everyone recommended Sylvan pools. Met Jimmy for the first time very knowledgeable in every aspect of pool maintenance parts replacement and any pool related issues. I’m very happy dealing with Sylvan and gladly recommend them to anyone.

Jimmy was fantastic to work with. So honest and reliable. I have been calling over a dozen people to replace my diving board. Each one said it’s discontinued and told me you need to rip up concrete and your diving board is no longer allowed due to new codes. My diving board was grandfathered in. Each pool company lied to me never telling me to call Sylvan who built my pool. Someone happened to come by and said you have a Sylvan pool see what they say. I called immediately Jimmy faced time me we measured the board and it was in stock. Beware of dishonest people who try to rip you off. Jimmy was a pleasure and I referred him to my friends. Will only use him going forward. He came took old diving board and replaced it with the new one. He saved me a fortune! Rachel

Beware of bad sales practices to start and be ready for a terrible construction experience after. Also have no expectation for good customer service or communications. This company built our pool and was the worst construction experience filled with errors, hidden cost increases, and abandonment level delays. Everything is outsourced and Sub-contractors are a mixed bag. Stay away from them. Better to pay more with a professional contractor than deal with their shady practices. We continue to deal with mistakes and remediations from them and their sub-contractors. Even the engineer makes rookie mistakes on the plans and the construction team and hard scape contractors ignore the plans to cut corners.

In December of 2019, my husband and I made the decision to install an in ground pool. We chose Anthony & Sylvan Pools because of their outstanding reputation. The initial stages of the project however, did not go smoothly. Our salesperson either left or was fired and our original project manager resigned. We were stalled. Fortunately, once Bob Hoke was assigned as our project manager things changed. He maintained frequent contact and kept the balance of the construction on schedule. He communicated with our landscape contractor so that nothing was delayed. Bob worked hard to ensure that we had a useable pool for our summer of quarantine.
