It was a pleasure meeting with Kiril and the gentleman assisting him today in his studio. I brought in a garden statue (in pieces) I'd found underneath years of ivy on my property, hoping it could be repaired. I so appreciated Kiril's knowledge as well as his candor in giving me his assessment. Many 'experts' suggest repairs that are ultimately less than effective in order to generate business for themselves, but that is not the case here. They took the time to carefully examine the piece, told me exactly what it was and what might work in terms of repairing it, but they did not think it would necessarily make sense to undertake a costly repair.
