A few weeks ago we gave Bruce $1,000 deposit to start work on our house which included touch ups, sanding, priming and painting almost our entire house post renovation. He came for 3 days as we agreed to do part of the sanding and priming on the main level, but only worked 3 hours a day at the slowest pace I've ever seen. The sanding was not finished but he said he will return to finish the job after our molding is done. We rushed the floor and molding guy to finish and Bruce said he will be back on Dec 11 but he disappeared. I called, texted and sent him tons of messages for 2 weeks— silence. I started writing reviews online and suddenly heard back. As it turns out he simply decided he didn't want to continue the job, he felt like the deposit covered the work he did and so he ghosted me (
