Apartment Keepers

I have been using Apartment Keepers since they were founded. They're perfect for the apartment dweller. I always feel renewed and spoiled and happy and content and much more relaxed every time they clean and leave me with a lovely apartment (I am a bachelor and live alone, so it never happens on its own). I am super-grateful for Apartment Keepers!

I’ve used Apartment Keepers for quite some time, primarily because they’re contracted with my building. While the staff have generally been polite and accommodating, my most recent experience was deeply disappointing—and it reflects a recurring pattern I’ve encountered not only with this company, but with several cleaning services across the Washington, D.C. area. I scheduled a cleaning within a specific time window, only to be told they might arrive at the end of that window and could run over by more than an hour. This isn’t the first time my schedule has been treated as secondary to theirs. Frankly, it’s baffling. The cleaning was service cleaning. They didn’t vacuum couch, chairs, under couch, chairs or coffee table. Didn’t mop floors well since dust was still under the dining room table. They were in and out in 1 hour and 15 minutes for a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom apartment

If you're looking for a superficial cleaning service that will breeze through cleaning as quickly as possible, then Apartment Keepers is right for you. They have a slick website for a cleaning service and their owner is very responsive. However, the actual cleaning was very mediocre - they cleaned my 1 br apartment with 3 people in 45 minutes. Their routine is supposed to include mopping yet they seemed surprised every time I pointed them to my mop and bucket. And then, they "mopped" without filling the bucket with water. They also rescheduled the most recent appointment the night before without any explanation. The provided service window is 6 hours, but don't even think just asking for a text message heads-up the day of because they will point you to a more expensive service.

They were absolutely outstanding. I have relied on this service for years, and the two ladies who came today did an exceptional job cleaning my condo unit. I sincerely hope they will be assigned to me again in the future.
