Apollo Beach Observation Tower

Beautiful place to watch the sunset. Lots of tables, paved sidewalks and plenty of spaces to watch the sun go down.

It is, as always, a quiet little hidden gem. However, you can no longer even wade in the water. There are signs everywhere. This is a classic example of how just a few people making stupid decisions ruin it for the rest of us. I still go here to meditate and will until they put up a sign telling that that's not allowed either. At least you're still allowed to breathe the air........ foe now, lol

Apollo Beach is absolutely beautiful. The water is incredibly warm—perfect for putting your feet in the water or just relaxing by the shore. But what truly takes your breath away are the sunsets. Great place to watch a sunset. It's a nice little park. It has several pavilions to get out of the sun, and a little beach where people can at least get their feet wet. No swimming allowed due to hazardous currents.

Nice place for clear views of larger Tampa Bay Area. Clear line of sight to city of Tampa and St. Petersburg. Relaxing place to watch sunset.
