We had a difficult project for our property. We had severe flooding and drainage issues. There is a steep hill on the property that is very difficult to reach with equipment and adjustments to the property affects the neighbors which makes the situation even more complicated. You have to understand, as a new homeowner I know nothing about such things. I called Billy first since his business was local. He was very honest with me and said the situation is complex. He walked me through the next steps I should take including obtaining the plat and engineering plans from the county, discussing with an attorney, landscape engineer, our HOA, and the city/county about the situation to see if a broad, multi-property stormwater drainage solution is required. I contracted with Appalachian Landscape to install sod at my residence in Rockmart and I couldn't be more pleased. The work was done at the promised time and it looks great. As with any big job, we had a couple hiccups, however Billy, the owner, took care of them immediately. I highly recommend Billy and his team.

We had this company come out to do a patio paver for my yard in March. The area to be paved was not massive, but I was not comfortable building a retaining wall. I had several companies come out and chose Appalachian because I felt comfortable right away that the job would be done right. Billy came out and I immediately felt better with his suggestions on the space. For our project, there may not have been a need to do a sketch plan, but there was some misunderstanding on my expectations, which as one would expect, caused a couple of tiny hiccups that were easily corrected with no issue, causing no delays on completion. They do not follow up on what they promise they are going to do. They do not always show up for appointments or are late. They have scarred boards on my decks with their weed whacking. To top everything off, twice the owner has became very angry and told us to get another company. I guess when someone shows you who they are you should believe them. This company obviously does not care about its customers. This review will probably be deleted, but at least the owner will see it. And yes, I will be looking for another company.

Bill and his team went above and beyond for us! We had to get our yard done before family visited from out of town and they were booked 2-3 weeks, but they worked hard to squeeze my home in and get it done before family came in. This is the second time I’ve used Appalachian, and I think I’ve found my “go to” landscapers.
