I was assigned Appliance Protection LLC through my home warranty (AHS) for a dishwasher issue. The technician arrived, opened the door, closed it within minutes, and confidently declared he knew the problem “after several years of doing this.” Total time in my home: about five minutes. On his way out, he asked me to leave a 5-star review — before any repair was completed. After multiple follow-ups about the “ordered part,” calls eventually went unanswered. When I contacted my warranty company, I was told this company reported the damage as “intentional” and not covered — despite no actual troubleshooting being performed. Extremely disappointing experience. I would strongly recommend using a different service provider.

My washer was not advancing through the phases of the cycle. American Home Shield scheduled this company. The technician Sam came to repair on 24 Nov, and decided it needed a new latch. He left to go to his vehicle to see if he had the part. Almost 30 mins later and he still hasn't returned. I text him to check his status and said, "I guess you dont have the latch?" He replied, no we're ordering. Then I didn't get a notice that it was ordered until 2 days later. Finally 10 days later on 6 Dec they called to reschedule because they received the part. A different tech, Badar(?), showed up today, 8 Dec. My appointment was 12-4pm. He showed up at 515pm. No one called to say they were running late. Even talked to their dispatch at 310pm to make sure they were still coming. Called him back at 43

My husband and I dealt with Appliance protection LLC for ELEVEN weeks, almost 3 months, and we were extremely unsatisfied and unhappy with their poor, disrespectful and unprofessional service. Leon was rude every single time we asked for more information about the time frame for our dryer’s repair, the status of the replacing piece, and what to expect next. Not only he was arrogant and inconsiderate, but he lied to us about the process they have in place such as receiving pieces and not checking them before scheduling appointments, time of appointment and being late. I had a very similar bad experience as others have with this company. My laundry machine had broken and would stop mid cycle. American Home Shield had scheduled a time for a technician from this company to come. First unusual thing was they called me and said they could come a few days earlier than the scheduled date but noticed status of the request was not updated. Technician took a look at my washer and said the drum was broken. A few days passed but my request was still pending and awaiting the report.
