Parking at the Aquarium Garage for the South Carolina Aquarium was a great experience. The parking deck was easy to access, well laid out, and there was plenty of parking available. The biggest and best surprise was the price — only $6.00 to park for about three hours, which is an excellent value for the area. Very convenient and stress-free parking option if you’re visiting the aquarium or nearby attractions.

BEWARE: Only parking garage I have ever used in all my travels that "resets" the charge at midnight and charges double the daily rate rather than an overnight charge. Even though it says $24 daily maximum, I was in the garage for LESS THAN 24 HOURS and was charged the max daily rate TWICE! The young lady on the intercom was rude and made no accomodations when I asked her why they don't clearly disclose that overnight parking occures TWICE the daily rate even if under 24 hours parked. Shame on the city of Charleston, this discourages me from doing any business with a city we love and have been visiting for 15 years. Small but very nicely presented aquarium. The bald eagle presentation is very good. The story boards are well written. The variety of fish life is amazing. Great photo ops. Slightly pricey. They do have an AAA discount. Great staff. Clean men's room.

This is a very nice garage that charges up $20/day. Be warned, if you park over night you will be charged for 2 days. My 12 hours of parking resulted in a $39 charged. Pretty much any lot is less overnight. I was in at 8 pm and out by 8 AM. $39.
