Stratis says he wants you to be happy with the end product but when you are not, he is nowhere to be found. We had a good experience in the summer of 2022 when he installed granite countertops. This is why he gets a two star rating instead of a one. This year, we hired him (we thought) to install a metal backsplash. Instead, he sent workers who were not properly trained. The job was sloppy. We sent him detailed information and photos, and tried to work with him on a resolution. It’s been crickets. We will not work with him again.

Artistic Stone is the place to go for over the top service. The owner, Stratis Sylvyn is wonderful to work with. I recently had him do all the surfaces in my Red Lodge Home. He was good for his word and did several little extras that a true expert would only do. I called 3 places in Billings, he was the only one to get back to me. I could not believe it. I am so glad he was the one who did my work. He is creative and has many, many years of experience. He not only does exceptional finishes, but he has a vast knowledge of stone and will find the one that is perfect for your project. I would also consider him for custom furniture and iron work. If you live in Billings or Laurel, Mont. and want a superior granite/stone job, Staratis Sylvyn at Artistic Stone is the ONLY one for your job. He installed black granite countertops in our large kitchen & it was a major job. In our old house, nothing was square & his measurements & templates were perfect - as were the seams (can't even see them). A real plus was how tidy and on-time he was with help to make the installation go smoothly - a minimum of moving stuff from the cabinets. While underway, he always left the kitchen tidy with temp. measures so we could continue to use the kitchen. Big Mistake !!!! This guy wanted 30% down so he could order the material which I thought it was fair than he came and accessed the work and he wanted another 25% down. When he claimed he has the material ready to install he wanted another 25%. He than talked me into paying him in full before the work was done. Once I paid him, to get him to do the job was worse then pulling teeth. Everything was based on his schedule and convenience. He did not pay attention to details. Again now that he got paid he jus wanted to finish the job. He cut the electrical holes way too big and when I asked him to come back and fix it, he said it could take three weeks. For all I know it could take him three months. I decided to get someone else to fix what he started. DO NOT TRUST THIS GUY !!!!
