Arts & Science District Garage

We parked here as directed by the Science Center website across the street. This is the default place to park if you are visiting the Science Museum though. There is no attendant either coming in or going out. There never is that’s by design. You are supposed to pay at a kiosk with your credit card and enter your license plate or pay via the QR code posted on several pillars and walls but I’m giving one less star because the website it took me to crashed on me and said it was having technical difficulties and I wasted 5+ min trying to get it to work unsuccessfully. So I trudged over to the kiosk and finagled with that for a bit until it spit out a parking receipt which you then put in your dashboard. I spent about $12 for 4 hrs or so it’s about $3/hr which seems fair for a city cover

Well, you have to pay $15 for 6 hours with a QR code (that is the shortest amount of time to pick from), hence the three stars. Other than that it is a spacious, clean, well lit & staffed parking garage.

Horrible experience beware of “Officer 5880” Paid 15$ for parking and 2 hours into my 6 hour reservation I find a citation on my vehicle. My key fobe had fallen off of my keys and when approaching two representatives on the property to ask for next steps, I was given no explanation for citation and totally disregarded. I approached with understand and I was met with defensiveness (Extremely unprofessional). I was told I need to dispute this on monday on my own time after paying. The officer listed in photos also gave 3 other citations to individuals who paid on this night. Update : 2 months after appealing we received a document stating “appeal denied” and to pay the 40$. ANYONE WHO RECIEVES AN INCORRECT CITATION, call the police and file report prior to leaving that garage…do not foll

Inexcusably bad - one pay station on ground level. I could have used Park Mobile but didn’t want to bother entering my rental car. Pay station didn’t take my card first time so had to start over. Couple in front of me gave up after three tries of it giving card error. Then I looked at the printed ticket and small print says to display in car which was way across the far side of the garage. When you have to enter your license plate displaying the ticket is usually not needed.

The signs are kind of confusing and it’s so easy to not understand how to actually pay. Instead of hiring an attendant or helpers, they just post random things on the walls which direct you to pay the kiosk or the website. The problem is the Wi-Fi in their garage really sucks and so does the cellular signal. And the kiosks are literally nowhere to be found unless you wonder around. It’s also very badly lit and when it’s raining it kind of floods a bit.
