ASAP Movers

This is how my whole experience went with ASAP MOVERS, from start to finish. I hired them last minute today when my "movers" decided they were going to have to reschedule my appointment. I spoke with a nice young lady who was able to schedule me right away for this afternoon. She let me know she would have my movers call me at 1 pm to verify my appointment. At exactly 1 pm I received a phone call from Dusty who let me know he was on his was and should arrive by promptly by 2. At exactly 2 pm Dusty and Steve pulled up in a big white truck. They were very nice and polite and went over my contract with me in detail. After the paperwork they began my load and had everything moved to my new place by 7 pm sharp! I went with ASAP Movers based on a friend's recommendation. We had contracted to tile our living room and the tilers moved the start date up by a week. So I needed a room moved on short notice and over the weekend. I called ASAP Movers on Friday at 10am and asked if we could have our living room furniture including a baby grand piano moved on Sunday. The person taking the order asked how heavy the piano was and where it was being moved. I told her it was up two steps into the dining room and it would take 4 strong men. She scheduled them to arrive between 9 and 9:30am Sunday. On Sunday I received a call from Fred of ASAP at 8:35am saying they would be here in 45 minutes. Four men of varying height arrived at 9:10. I am very satisfied with moving services provided by ASAP Movers. Cole and Shawn come to my apartment on time. After review what needs to be moved they started promptly and carefully loaded all my stuff on truck. No delays, very efficient, attention to little details. Unloading went also very smoothly, although the big concern about a narrow door at the bottom of the stairwell to basement. Absolutely horrible. My girlfriend hired ASAP to do her move. The quote was "3 hours at the most" but when the movers arrived they announced that they "accept tips" and then proceeded to take upwards of 20 minutes per round from the apartment to the van. I personally helped move into the apartment and could have easily made 4 trips in that same amount of time. On top of it, they chipped a wooden frame on a painting of hers, and then when they placed her bookcase outside it blew over on to rocks and was basically ruined. When she called to complain she was told that something would be done to try and at least rectify the experience. However, once we had reached the storage destination the manager then retracted this offer and said that they would take 40 dollars off of the total. Not accep

I originally purchased 2 hours of moving services for $99. On the day of my scheduled move, the movers didn't show up. I called the owner, Bob, who was so rude and my move was never completed. In addition to that, he fraudulently charged my credit card an additional $99 for no services performed. He agreed to refund my card and was never completed! This company is the true definition of FRAUD!!!!
