Phillip came in, and gave me an estimate to paint my kitchen cabinets, and then got started the next week. To say he did a phenomenal job is an understatement. And it’s the little things along the way that made a huge impact (like helping with choosing the paint color, discussions about hardware, fixing trim pieces, and accommodating my need to let my dogs out). I work from home so I got to see the whole process and Phillip is very thorough and very neat. I’ve already asked him to do another paint job for me. My 1963 cabinets were original to the house and in rough shape, but I didn’t want to rip out all wood cabinets. He made them look brand new.

I recently had my home painted, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Philip was punctual, professional, and paid close attention to every detail. They took the time to properly prep the surfaces, protect my floors and furniture, and clean up thoroughly afterward. The quality of the work is truly top-notch — smooth, even coats, crisp lines, and a flawless finish that completely transformed the space. They worked efficiently without cutting corners, and they were respectful and courteous throughout the entire process. It’s not easy finding contractors who deliver exactly what they promise, but Philip exceeded my expectations. Philip White, owner of Ascension Painting, is an excellent painter, easy to work with and very accommodating to your needs. He has a great eye for paint colors and matching existing wall paint. He works neatly, efficiently and never dropped a bit of paint anywhere. Besides working for me personally, he repaired and painted ceilings/walls at the Medical Center League House, a non-profit hospitality house that I operate in Amarillo. I wanted to thank the owner Philip for assembling and customizing a swing set that I bought. Philip went way beyond my expectations. Not only did he paint and seal the swing he also made a flower box he and personalized it with her name. I would highly recommend Philip and will be using him again.
