Matt Smith, Stonesmith company, and team just finished a three week stonewall project along our driveway. Their effort required taking out our old wall then building a new, stronger and more beautiful wall. The wall was built using good size boulders that needed to be moved using an excavator, the rocks shaped and sized with chisels, hammers, wedges and shims always in play. Our wall was built using six different kinds of stone, selected by their team. This is our third project with Matt, if we had a fourth, fifth and/or sixth, they’d be the team we’d hire back.

Matt and his team of artisans were a pleasure to do business with! Our garden designer (Mardi Letson) hired Matt and his team to install a new stone walkway in our front yard. We could not have been more pleased with their work. They were so fun to get to know and all around nice guys. We were sad when they were done. Would highly recommend Asheville Stonesmith.
