My AC company wanted to charge me $700 to repair a flexible AC duct in the crawl space that had come apart. Instead, I spent $15 at Atco for a collar and $2 at a hardware store for zip ties (I already had aluminum HVAC tape). It took me about 20 minutes to do the repair and I saved myself $683! I checked on it a month later, the join seems strong, and the air is coming out of the vent forcefully. Thank you Atco! It was much more convenient to buy the part from you, especially as neither Lowes nor Home Depot had what I needed in stock.

Brought my condenser fan motor into the store and was sold a new one. When the hvac guy came to install it I was told it was the wrong one for a few reasons. I called and talked to the owner and was going to see if I could swap it out but we couldn't even get to that point of the conversation because he started getting angry and just said "well" and hung up on me. Now I'm stuck with a fan motor that won't work and have to find another one. Won't shop here again.

Absolutely RUDE. I knew exactly what I needed, as my brother in law who owns an HVAC company had told me what to get (and where, and I should've listened to him). The older gentleman in the office came out and basically told the younger guy I didn't know what I needed. Gave me a slightly higher capacitor than I wanted(didn't notice until I got home, because I figured he listened to what I told him) luckily it will still work. The price was 6x what the next highest price was anywhere else.. I will NEVER set foot in there again, and I will never allow anyone I know to go anywhere near it again either. We thought it would be easier to run by this place because we were already in Athens grabbing lunch and had my 5 year old with us, or I would've just said forget it and went literally ANYWHERE

Buyer beware!!!!! Will not do Buisiness with this company any longer. We usually buy our AC parts her and we usually expect to pay a higher price as it is the closest place to Greensboro Ga. The last capacitor I bought was over $$40 which I new was high but I needed it. This time when I purchased the capacitor to replace the last one I bought I was charged $127.56. My head almost exploded. After installing it I looked online as I knew I could order a spare for when it went out again and it was under $17. I have never heard of that much markup in my life. I’m all about supporting independent businesses…. But the pricing in crazy!!
