ATLAS Home Inspection

We did our pre-drywall inspection for a new construction home with Ed at Atlas Home Inspection. Everything went great and Ed's attention to detail is excellent. During the inspection he showed me the various issues, how severe they are, and gave me additional information. He answered all my questions and provided a thorough report with lots of photos. I got the inspection report in less than 24 hours. I was impressed with Ed's expertise, thoroughness, and professionalism. He spent hours going through every wall, framing intersection, penetration, system, and structural detail. He identified issues that I never would have known to look for: missing shims at windows, short squash blocks, mechanical clearances, framing irregularities, and important builder oversights that would have been hidd

Ed did an incredibly thorough and detailed inspection of our new construction home. He is clearly very experienced and knowledgeable. During the inspection, he explained everything he was doing, taught me about the house, and found numerous functional and cosmetic issues. He also explained to me numerous things in the house which he thought didn't meet the best build standard or manufacturer's strict specifications. He explained that while the builder is not likely to correct these, they are things I can look out for in the future as the home ages. The inspection report itself is meticulous and will be something I can reference in the future as I learn about the house. I highly recommend Ed for your home inspection needs.
