I have been trying to get the township to fix the road in front of my house for several years. I am a paraplegic in a wheel chair and the shoulder of the road is in bad shape. Austin Tyler Construction was working near my home for the last couple weeks resurfacing the road. I asked one of their guys if they had any fill they could put in the hole so I can get closer to my mailbox. He said he’d see what they could do and then proceeded to clean, fill and blacktop the area so I now can roll right up to it. They went WAY above and beyond! As far as I am concerned they helped someone they didn’t even know and asked nothing for it, we need more people/companies like this!

Heading to work at 330 am on a rainy morning, pitch dark small bridge crossing leads into a bend with no block off barrels and a fresh oil sign thats sat for 3 weeks. Just so happen to choose the perfect time to slosh through brand new oil laid by a truck just around that very bend. Why have fresh oil sign up for 3 weeks but give no day or time you'll be laying oil? Why lay oil at 330 am going through residential area? To top it off they left a foot long by 4 inch deep dive at the end of the bridge with no metal plate, destroyed hundreds of peoples tire tread going through there. Honestly shocked they've been scummy for years and still have a business license. P.S. they constantly leave keys in equipment P.P.S. it was a Saturday at 330am

The truck driver of a dump truck with a license plate 748-1651 is a jerk was not letting people merge was trying to go where he wasn’t supposed to be on 80 eastbound and was not driving respectfully. Today’s date is November 21, 2025.

Our church contracted with Austin-Tyler in June of 2024 to repair and repave our parking lot. We had explained that since our preschool was not in session over the summer, it would be great if we could get it done before Labor Day. Communication was poor at best. Crickets until the first or second week of December, at which point asphalt plants were closing and temperatures were too cold to pave. Would not recommend.

9:55 AM, Saturday 4/9/22, Rt. 30 in New Lenox between School House Rd & Cedar Rd. Driver ran myself and my three young children right off the road. We were very lucky to have been able to pull into the middle turning lane to avoid being side swiped. Driver was all over the road and extremely reckless.
