Not a great experience. The shower floor mosaic we ordered came in much whiter than the store sample which resulted in delays to our project having to pick something else at another store. The bullnose we ordered came poorly finished, and the 10 replacement pieces only had 3 good ones. It took one of the employees driving to their NJ warehouse and hand selecting 7 good pieces out of a few cases to finally get them right. The main tiles also had a few pieces that had the design mis-printed with sections of it missing. To their credit the employees we worked with were all great and didn’t charge us restocking fees (by the way why do they even charge this on in stock merchandise?). Our experience with Avalon was fantastic. We ordered/installed coretec LVP and new baseboards throughout our approx. 2000sq/ft home. Michael Schwartz, our Sales Associate, was incredibly helpful in navigating the various products and the best fit for our home and lifestyle. When it came to installation, we could not be more thrilled with the final product, the installers were quick, clean, and efficient. I had the pleasure of working with sales rep Jonathan Rowley, who came highly recommended. I told him the colors I wanted and he sent me pics of tiles. They were nice but not my style. I went to Lowe’s, loved a special order tile which would take 7 days. I sent Jonathan a pic of it. Later that day he sent me more pics and I’m glad to say, he hit it out the ballpark !!! I loved this one tile, it was perfect. He transferred the order closer to me at the Avalon Philly store. It was ready for pickup in just 2 days !! He saved me time and money.
