We were looking for hurricane shutters and Awnit had the perfect solution with these Bahamian shutters. These are well built and look fantastic. Austin and his team were great to deal with, even going to pick them up in Fort Myers so they would be installed on time. Highly recommend

The previous owner of our home had installed handmade shutters that doubled as awnings above several of the windows on our house. They served their purpose and got us thru the last two hurricane seasons but they were very hard to use and one fell after the last hurricane. We kept putting off starting the process of purchasing new shutters as we figured it would be very expensive. With hurricane season quickly approaching, we figured we should get started so we contacted Awnit for an estimate. We were so pleased with how that initial meeting went that we paid the deposit and moved forward. The shutters were installed today and we couldn't be happier! They got them done in a couple of hours and they look amazing - best of all, they will be easy to put up and take down. Highly recommen

We own a house that was built in the 1960s that until now, still contained with original windows. Awnit was up to the challenge of changing out our old windows for new ones. The owner Austin was with us every step of the way. We even got approval from Ygrene to finance the project for a 30 year span of time, making the project fit within our budget. While they advertise mostly for hurricane shutters and panels, Their crew for window replacement is quick and professional. We are very happy with the results and wish we had done it sooner. We are looking forward to the energy savings as well. This is a good local business to support.
