Backroad Purpose

Life Changing. That's the best way to describe Backroad Purpose. We live full-time on the OG bus designed and built by Caleb and Emilie. Our 35ft International School Bus, that we effectionately refer to as "Otis Roading," is our exclusive home-on-wheels that we use to travel full-time. We have owned the bus for 365 days, traveling 8k miles through 22 states. And there are two fundamental reasons for our success: Our Determination and Backroad Purpose. Beyond the quality build is a company that stands by their work. We have zero regrets, and you won't either.

If you’re looking for someone to complete a bus build for you look no further! Backroad Purpose was amazing to work with! I thought about completing my bus build out myself and I’m glad I didn’t. Caleb brought so much knowledge and experience. We’re extremely happy with our experience and the result!

Paid $2k "design fee" after communicating with them for a month. They kept promising "yes we can do everything you need for price x" So I paid the design fee, and sent in all the details as they asked for. Only to get back their "design delivery" of - half a page of partial materials list - price of x times 3.5 - "mood board" where they displayed my name with the colors I selected myself and sent in. - explanation of "this is not what you asked for but we're telling you that's what you need" and "just get your bus to our shop and we will figure it out" After insisting on an actual design that I paid for, they sent me - a video of another bus that's far away from my requirements - a general drawing of a bus, again not what I asked for or needed. Biggest scam. Stay away. Keep your money.

Hard working, determined, and always willing to go above and beyond. Highly recommend. Would give 10 stars if it was an option.
