Baker Epoxy coatings

I was debating whether or not to leave this review. We had used Baker Epoxy Coating years ago at my business and my home and both jobs were completed to satisfaction. We were looking to finish our basement and decided that we wanted to do the floor in Epoxy. I contacted Shannon and Jayson and had them talk with our contractor and he gave them the schedule as when they would be ready to have to floor done. They had a 2 week window to complete this. Baker told us that would be perfect and plenty of time to complete the project. The first week comes and they text saying they are behind on a job they are currently working at. First week goes past and nothing was done at all. 2nd week comes and nobody showed the 1st day. 2nd day a part time guy shows and has faulty equipment and messes aroun

Negative stars or at least zero should be an option. During the summer of 2021 we contacted Baker Epoxy Coatings to provide us with an estimate to coat our pool. We spoke with Jayson Baker and he described the process. He provided us with a price. I looked at their reviews (which at the time were 4.6 or 4.7). They had a HIC number and insurance was up to date according to the website (btw they are advertising an inactive HIC number now). We decided to move forward with Baker. Jayson stated they would be out in fall to complete the project. November 2021 the pool was painted and it looked amazing. (As seen in the picture on the left). Baker Epoxy Coatings did a great job on our garage floor, sidewalk and porch. We had them install the flake polyaspartic floor. Looks amazing. They worked with our schedule and got the job done promptly. Their prices were very competitive and ultimately the best. They are also very prompt on communication. I would recommend them 100%

We love our garage floor. It was expertly done. Jayson knows his business well and we would highly recommend him. We like supporting a local business. We felt the price was reasonable. The finished product is exactly what was promised. Our neighbors love it, too!

I do NOT recommend hiring Baker Epoxy. My nightmare began April of 2021 when I hired Jayson to fix my concrete patio. I was informed that my project would be completed in June. I recently learned, according to the Better Business Bureau, other customers have filed 5 complaints in the last 3 years about the company, all which have gone unresponsive by Jayson. They have a rating of an “F” by the BBB. In June, I began reaching out bi-weekly to see when the project would be started. Meanwhile, my deposit was cashed in April. I was told the project would be delayed a few weeks due to COVID. June came and went. July came and went. I was told a variety of excuses of why it wasn’t started.
