Unfortunate experience with Sam. We paid $14,500 for a beautifully constructed retaining wall 4 years ago and due to salt damage the steps started falling apart. Had we been informed that this would happen we would have made the adjustment to use something else for safety. After Sam came back and assessed the damage he said it would be $875.00 to replace the blocks plus labor. I kindly explained that I did not think after originally paying so much and it only being 4 years that we should have to pay anything for replacement. Honestly, I would have probably done something closer to $500.00, but almost double that seemed ridiculous. I was also caught off guard by how defensive Sam was. My husband is a contractor and developed a working relationship with Sam Barbose many years ago! As a Realtor and customer her has taken care of many of my home projects as well as clients. We have always been very happy with the quality of work and pricing. He has decades of experience and is a guru in this industry. 2 years ago he did an exceptional job stoning the front of my home, a 20 ft chimney, and around my garage. Last year he tour up old concrete around my pool and poured all new concrete and expanded my patio. Thank you Sam for always taking such great care!
