Barnhart electric came to replace a foyer chandelier that was too high for us to comfortably replace ourselves. They quickly and skillfully did the job and even went above and beyond to fix a light switch issue they noticed (which we knew about but weren’t going to bother with) that made turning on the light challenging, depending which switch location you were using. They also replaced two ceiling fans and programmed them so that the light can turned on and off using the light switch while the fan could be running independently using the cord. So helpful for those of us with little ones who want to turn the light on when the morning comes but can’t reach the cord if the fan has been on all night! Barnhart Electric installed recessed lighting and a ceiling fan in our living room that had no ceiling lights prior. They did an outstanding job, and we are so thankful to not have to use lamps to light this area any longer. They also added a recessed light in our bedroom, 3 soffit lights on our front porch, and an interlock so we can hook up a generator should our power fail. All of this was done in a single day. When the joists in our living room were discovered running the opposite direction of what one would rationally expect based on the rest of the house, they quickly devised a solution and didn't miss a beat. We were having electrical issues throughout our house, and called Barnhart Electric for help. We left a message, and they called us back within an hour. We arranged a time for them to check on the issue, and then scheduled an appointment for repairs that were quite involved. The day of the repairs, this husband and wife team arrived on time, and got right to the job. There were some complications that required ingenuity on their part, and they were certainly up to the challenge! Repairs were extensive, and completed within a few hours. We were so impressed with their knowledge and confidence! Hope to have them back sometime soon for some additional electrical work. They are an incredible team!

Mandy and her husband were so professional and helpful! They came out for a consult, listened to what we wanted, as well as our concerns. They eased our minds and gave us so much information. Today the did the work of adding outlets, installing a fan and fixing an outlet, they did an amazing job and everything looks great and they didn’t leave behind any mess !
