Barnhill Contracting Company

This company was paving the road I live on and the workers decided they were going to park their trucks and heavy equipment in my yard without asking. Not only did they tear the yard up after coming and going through out the day but they threw soda bottles, chip bags and garbage all over my yard. I can’t believe that a company would be so inconsiderate to other people’s property.

They are building directly behind my house and not controlling the dirt clouds and it’s destroying my pool filter because my pool is a resting place for the flying dirt!! I called and talked to Mr barn hill about the issue and his response floored me! Sorry but I’ll talk to the project mgr and have him run a water truck (damage is already done ) and he won’t do anything to replace what I’ve used or using because business doesn’t run that way anymore well excuse me but I’m out the recreation and money for someone I didn’t ask for and as we all say to our children,it doesn’t matter what others do YOU do the right thing ,sort of do as I say NOT AS I Do , because it’s all about the money not the moral thing to do as I’m in Raleigh and it’s not ME it’s YOU

i live in a neighborhood by one of Barnhills construction project, the demolition of the Doubletree Hotel at 1707 Hillsborough St. This project has been horrendous for the neighborhood. Fire alarms go off non stop for days from individual rooms inside the hotel.. Police have been called, the fire department has been by multiple times but there is no smoke and no point of entry, so they cannot do anything about the incessant alarms. In this specific occurance (one of many), the alarm has been going off 4 days straight. it s Monday (Memorial Day), and I am exhausted after my holiday weekend. I have a headache from the constant noise, and have not been able to sleep. I cannot reach anyone in the company, I suppose they are enjoying the Holiday weekend they have ruined for this neighborho

It's really nothing special. I just got my truck loaded with asphalt!!

One of their utility style trucks (license plate HH-1292) tailgated me on a rural road for several miles, despite the fact that I was traveling 5-10 miles over the speed limit. Then, when we got on the interstate, their truck started traveling 90-100 mph in a 60, weaving in and out of traffic like an idiot in a sports car. Reckless and dangerous behavior without regard for anyone’s life.
