I decided not to get anything done. My neighbors are very happy with this company and I am too since they were so respectful every time they come out to my back yard for the overhanging branches when they do the neighbor's trees. I discussed a quote for $1200 from another company for tree work and they disagreed with needing to trim the tree hanging over the house as it has 4 feet of clearance already and the tree provides shade to the house. They disagreed that these two trees (in my photo) are touching too much because in nature, the trees touch and that's ok. The only thing the Bartlett rep agreed with was clearing out one branch of deadwood that had a hanging broken branch on it that I can pull down myself sometime. I am not sure when Bartlett went downhill, but they are at the bottom of that hill now. We reached out to Bartlett in June to come assess some broken branches and cut back some branches over our house. The rep that we dealt with was Savanna. We signed an agreement for this job on 6/30, the proposal was ~$1.3k. I didn't hear anything from them about getting a service date scheduled so I emailed Savanna on 7/8 and was told "You are in the queue. I should be able to get to you later this week or next." They never came out that week or the following week. I called Bartlett on 7/21 and the receptionist told me we were on the books to be serviced on 7/24. Guess what? No one ever showed up.
