Bartow Paving Co Inc

To say this company is poorly run and managed, would be an understatement. The workers are very slow, and make it very clear they do not care about the flow of traffic. They are paving my neighborhood now. They are paving one lane at a time, and still keep both directions of traffic completely stopped for 15 - 30 minutes at a time. This neighborhood should have been completed within 5 - 7 days, working 7 days a week, and 8am - 10pm daily as legally allowed. They have already been here 30 days and are not 50% complete. They work as few hours as possible daily, and cause maximum chaos with flow of traffic. The newly paved areas are paper thin and there are already dozens of bad spots just days after paving. These guys act they are Govt Union employees the way they stand around and gossip. No

See photo below...Bartow Paving left their equipment parked in our subdivision all throughout our cul de sac and in this case in front of a fire hydrant. I really hope noone has an emergency overnight because they weren't considerate to potential EMS needs!

Like a previous reviewer said: Pond scum moves faster than these guys. Pilot driver in front of us took their sweet time & even stopped to talk to someone in a truck for a good few minutes before finally continuing ahead at a snail's pace after they saw me taking a photo of their company name/plate number. God forbid we or any of the drivers behind us had an emergency/were late for an appointment. Workers alongside the road also seemed like they were just standing around slacking off. Get with the program guys...

Unfortunately the city of marietta decided to have these guys pave my neighborhood. Their workers repeatedly threw their asphalt covered tools all over my grass, leaving behind chunks that they then ground in as they continuously trod over my lawn. The driveway was a mere 5 feet away and this grass was recently installed at significant expense. For a company that proclaims to "believe in the Lord, family and community. We strongly stand firm behind our work, ethics, honor and customer relationships. Family and community have always been the focus of Bartow Paving" they sure don't show it.

I guess because they are hired to pave the roads, they think they own the road. They drive very recklessly with no regard of the people around them. I've had their drivers cut me off. I've had them pull out in front of me without even looking. I've had them change lanes into my lane before they even clear me and almost clip my front bumper. On I-75 SB north of Wade Green Rd, their flatbed tried to pass a whole line of cars in the truck lane right before it ended and they didn't have enough time so they ran everybody out of their lane to merge over. Luckily the people in the middle lane were paying attention and changed lanes or slowed to let us over to avoid being run over. Otherwise, it would've been a nasty wreck.
