I am deeply dissatisfied with the outcome of my shower installation by Bath Planet and regret this purchase immensely. During the sales consultation, I was explicitly assured that the shower glass would not become cloudy due to a proprietary protective coating and that mold growth would not be an issue. Unfortunately, neither of these assurances has proven to be true. I am now dealing with visible mold, severely clouded glass, a shower door that does not close completely, and water pooling in areas away from the drain—clear indications of improper installation and substandard workmanship. Equally troubling has been the lack of customer support. I am extremely disappointed in Bath Planet’s product, installation, and service. I regret choosing Bath Planet for our bathroom renovation. The installation was overpriced for the quality of materials used. For example, the recessed light fixture was the cheapest available and didn’t match the recessed can—it was so poorly done I had to reinstall it myself. The custom shower was another disappointment. The sliding door is thin and rattles loudly every time it’s opened, closed, or wiped down—especially frustrating during early mornings when it disturbs my wife’s sleep. We reserved our gut remodel for our master bathroom with Randy Marshalek in late October 2022. The October 22, 2022 work order noted that this was a “Rush Job – Heavy Mold.” The contract we signed for financing on October 24, 2022 mentioned a “full bathroom gut, new shower, floors.” The work order noted all of the fixtures in the bathroom would be replaced, all of which we would purchase separately except for the shower. The work was scheduled to begin November 30 to December 1 and take 3 days. Until then, my family of 4 plus my two visiting parents had to share one bathroom while waiting to avoid adding more wetness to the master shower. The Bath Planet servicing the DMV area has been more than a pleasure to work with! It did take some time for parts to come in, and the work to be scheduled after the initial contract was signed… however, the work was done very well and in a timely manner (1 day!) . Bath planet transformed my half-bath in my basement into a full! I haven’t had the new shower very long, but so far so good! It looks great, and everything functions perfectly. The contractors were very respectful, and the communication throughout the process was excellent. Will 100% recommend to friends and family.

I received my new shower almost a year ago and would like to share my experience. Bath Planet had the product I wanted in my master shower and we chose to go with them. While I love my shower walls and European glass. I hate everything else. The shower pan they use is awful. Mine was installed unevenly and we stand a little funny while showering. The shower pan has drain lines that are not comfortable to stand on. The caulking job is horrific and I battle mold weekly along the edges. We had them come back to fix a few things and while they did, they scratched the newly installed wall with the razor tool and refused to fix it. I regret going with this for my install. I wish I had waited a little longer and did it all myself now that big box retailers close by now sell the same shower walls.
