Baton Rouge Waste Management

I left my garbage out Tuesday night and Wednesday is trash pick up day. But we I call the east Baton Rouge waste management they said need put in a service to 311! What the customer service people do with their time!!!! The mayor need address this situation and not hire employees either bad attitude!!! They could have taken my address and deal with issues!!!!

The trash is getting more ridiculous! They either coming late or leaving trash everywhere in the yards & roads. I am getting tired of picking up trash behind them. If this is what I am going to have to do you can send me their checks for doing their job!

They did not pick up my trash today 6/23/25. They left a green tag saying it needed to be 8 ft from mail box. 8 ft! I thought it was 3ft.

Service is great! I called about a damaged trashcan,& someone was out the next day! They couldn't repair it so they left a new one! I made a neat pile of small branches in front of my house, and the next day, a group of men following the truck picked it up (by hand), and put it in the truck's crusher. I was so surprised that they were walking and picking up items by hand, that I ran inside for tip money! I could tell that they were COMPLETELY SURPRISED by this small gesture of appreciation. My father used to give our local garbage collectors a bottle of whiskey for Christmas!!:) We have become so demanding& disrespectful of people whose LABOR we could not live without!
