The roads are in far worse condition than before the work began, and the crews have shown zero regard for residents or safety. They routinely block roads that aren’t marked as closed, twice today I was completely pinned in behind dump trucks while workers kept digging, ignoring the fact that they were blocking traffic for several vehicles that had nowhere else to go. They also park heavy equipment on a high-traffic curve near a busy pedestrian crosswalk, creating a one-lane blind spot where you can’t see oncoming cars or people crossing. It’s dangerous and completely avoidable. When I called to report being trapped, the person who answered actually said, “If it’s not us, it’s someone else,” as if every construction company operates with this level of inconsideration.
