For over ten years, Stuart Bauer pools has provided me with exceptional service for all of my pool needs. Regardless of whether I am there to have my water sampled or when they replaced my in ground pool liner, every staff member was courteous, professional and most importantly, extremely knowledgeable. I completely trust their recommendations and their work is impeccable. I would not consider using anyone else for anything I need for my pool, including opening and closing it. There is no better pool company in the Louisville area.

Stuart Bauer The original pool builder in this company built my pool in 1974. His family owned business has taken great care of it since then , His sons who were teenagers when it was built just put in my third liner in the 44 year old pool . They have always been wonderful to deal with and do a great job. Everyone has always been very helpful and prompt. Cathy did a great job helping me choose the new liner. Michael and Don remind me so much of their dad Stuart who was such a gentleman with integrity. Show me another 44 year old pool that has held up as well as this one. You'll be wise to let them build your pool. They have taught me to open and close my own pool and care for the usual problems. I am grateful that the craftsmanship is still alive in this company. No complaints at all. Mr Bauer himself came to our rescue. They fit us in a busy schedule during peak pool season. I owe them a 5 star review for their service.

Consumers beware. Go through in detail what the cost of opening your pool will be BEFORE they start. Put a timer on the $80 per hour to remove the leaves. The cost of removing our safety cover because they had to bend over a short wall to unhook and remove 8 eye bolts cost us an additional $80. And finally, to turn on the heat pump for 30 seconds to see if it runs will be $20. It was totally my fault for being taken advantage of so I wanted to arm the rest of you with information.

I called Bauer pools in April to have a new liner installed. They sent someone to our house without an appointment. Thankfully, I pulled into the driveway in time to catch him but I couldn't stay. They just dropped us at this point. We were told to fix the drainage around the pool. Since we dont build and install inground pools, we didnt know how to go about doing this. We wrongly assumed a pool contractor would have resources or provide recommendations if they are unwilling to do it themselves. When I called to get assistance/advice, no one returned my call. It has been a colossal waste of time.
